Overall, it is clear that the amount of pizza and hamburgers which was consumed saw a significant increase while the expenditure on fish and chips fell sharply throughout the period shown.
It can be seen from the graph that the most popular fast food of teenagers in australia was fish and chips in 1975. about 100 times consumed by the teenagers, this figure fell steadily to 85 times in 1980. In the following two decades, the fish and chips consumption went down rapidly to less than 40 times eaten per year, although, it reached to about 95 times in 1985.
Over the same period, the two trends for consumption of pizza and hamburgers were similar in a term of rise general. In the period 1975-1985, it increased sharply to about 85 times in the hamburgers used and reached a peak of 100 times in 1995 and then remained in the last 5 years. pizza was accounted the lowest expenditure in 1975, at about 5 times per year. this number rose rapidly to more than 85 times in 1995 and was consistent at the end of period.
