During the next period of 25 years, figures for hamburgers showed a sharp increase to 100 grams per person. Likewise, there was a steep rise in the consumption of pizza to roughly 90 grams in 1995. Over the next five years, the amount of pizza consumed remained stable at nearly 90 grams, making it took the top place.
