Essay topics:

Line graph (The percentage of people accessing news from 4 sources: TV, Radio, Newspaper, Internet).

The graph illustrates the proportion of inhabitants getting instant access to relevant news from 4 categories, including television, radio, newspapers, and the Internet between 1995 and the expected 2025.

In general, it is expected that almost three sources of information would undergo a dramatic decrease when reaching 2025. In contrast, the Internet appeared at its lowest point in 1995, then witnessed a drastic rocket to take the lead in 2025.

Looking at the figure in 1995, the percentage of citizens who preferred to get information from the telly was nearly 70%, making it become the most dominant wealth of source before experiencing a downward trend in 2000. After that, the proportion of people watching TV gained popularity again to increase lightly before dropping to around 20% and is expected at 50% in 2025. On the contrary, the Internet was first on air in 1995 and rose gradually until 2000. It is noticeable that the ratio of people accessed to the Internet grew swiftly as a rocket to reach approximately a third in 2010. This figure continued rising throughout the mentioned period and is anticipated to stand over 55% in 2025.

Meanwhile, the percentage of people getting news from the newspapers and radio relatively fluctuated around 57% and 52% in 1995. Then, there was a significant plummet for both sources, with newspaper and radio figures are forecasted to be halved in 2025.
