Topic: People living in the 21st century have a better quality of life than the previous centuries.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In the era of modern society, living conditions have been heightened in every aspect of life, providing cutting-edge products and services for humans. Yet there are several arguments concerning the life quality of people compared to the past. From my point of view, I totally see eye to eye with this notion and this essay will shed light on more details.
One major ground behind the mentioned claim is that there are numerous breakthroughs in healthcare. In fact, diseases and infections are some of the top causes leading to decreased human life expectancy, or even immature deaths. Thanks to the unprecedented progress in healthcare, today, a variety of serious diseases have been diagnosed soon and cured suitably, such as fever and preventive vaccines. In addition, medical advances enable doctors to give more concise diagnoses through medical imaging or endoscopic. For instance, laser is one of the most effective treatments for complicated cases.
Furthermore, the digital revolution has fundamentally transformed our daily lives, marking a significant improvement over past centuries. With the support of the Internet and portable devices, today, individuals are likely to get instant access to a wealth of information and myriad sources of entertainment. Therefore, geographic distance obstacles will be done away with barriers, fostering global citizens to communicate with each other. Additionally, these technological advances enable us to optimize the efficiency of work performance as well as convenience such as internet banking, e-wallet, and e-commerce platforms, allowing consumers to purchase online. As a result, these improvements enhance considerably the living standards.
In conclusion, the 21st century offers a superior quality of life, primarily thanks to groundbreaking advancements in healthcare and the transformative impact of digital technology. These developments have not only prolonged our life spans but also enriched our daily experiences, making modern life more convenient, connected, and comfortable than ever before.
