You should write at least 150 words.
The line diagram illustrates the data on the commodities exported from Australia to four different countries including Japan, the US, China, and India over a 22 year period, starting from 1990.
Overall, it can be observed that the percentage of goods exported from Australia to China and India exhibited upward trends whereas China displayed the most significant growth over the period. However, exports to the remaining two countries, Japan and the US declined over 22 year period.
Examining the dataset that increased in more detail, it is clear that China and India started at 2.5% of products imported from Australia in 1990. While China reached 5% in 2000, India remained the same. In 2012, China and India reached 28% and 5% respectively where China showed a significant escalation among the all countries in the graph.
Turning to the dataset that decreased, it is evident that Japan started from 26% in 1990, which is the highest starting in the graph. After experiencing a decline over the period, it reached 16% in 2012. Australia exported 12% of products in The US in 1990. After a sudden drop in 1995 at 8%, it climbed again to 12% in 2000. Thereafter it displayed a downward trend and reached 7% in 2012
