Many people today used their phones to communicate by sending text messages than talking. What are the reasons for this? Does it have advantages/disadvantages?

In today's world it can be seen that number of people are connected through messages instead of calling. I, however, believe that owing to number of reason people are habitual of sending text messages whereas, it has number of cons and pros as well of texting.

I would like to outline the advantages of sending text messages that eventually is far beneficial for those people who has busy job schedule at their workplace, as well as military people are not allowed to attend outside calls owing to security purpose. Moreover, number of people is doing outdoor jobs namely; delivery boy, purchase officer and many others that actually is not suitable for them to attend calls every time that's why they prefer to send messages. Additionally, people may text to those people who not attending calls due to busy schedule or mobile number is switched off.

On the other hand, the rising core disadvantage of sending text messages is that mostly youngsters has been addicted of using text messages that ultimately ruin their time and energy. Along with this, some people use cell phones every time due messages whether they are alone or sitting in any gathering which is also unethical. Furthermore, many people are connected with texting during bike riding or car riding that ultimately can be a caused of accident.

To sum up, people must be aware of disadvantages of excessive sending text messages but, not to overlook it's benefits as well. And, parents should look an eye on their children as well as guide them pertaining to adverse consequences of text messages.
