The map shows the change of Bell Hill from a farm in 1976 to an Environmental Study Centre in 2006
The given maps illustrate the development that occurred in Bell Hill Farm over a three-decade period between 1976 and 2006. Overall, the Bell Hill Farm was completely transformed into the Environment Centre by 2006, except for farmhouse that remained stable over the period.
In particular, in the Northwest of the Bell Hill Farm, the first noticeable change that could be seen is the fact that the storage for farm machinery was demolished to make way for the construction of the Parking area. Whereas, the multimedia room, situated in the North of Environment Centre, next to the parking, was converted into barn farm. Similarly, in the east of Bell Hill Farm, both cow sheds and chicken side were removed and made way for the development of student housing in the year 2006.
Besides, what stands out from the graph is that in the centre of Environment centre, recreation area was established where farmyard stood at in 1976. Noticeably, the only place that was untouched is Farmhouse located in the south with no change done to it
