the given maps illustrate the changes of the central of a small town called Islip, over the course 5 years starting in 2010.
Looking at these pictures, it is clearly evident that there are number of shifts such as the introduction of a bus station and the erection of a shopping centre. The most noticeable change is the replacement of building areas with several major infrastructure projects.
On the north of the town, the demolition of shops make the way for the construction of the bus station, shopping centre and a car park respectively. On the right, the rest of this zone was turned into a new housing. Afterwards, the demolition of a main road led to the erection of a pedestrian street.
The most noticeable is the expansion of the dial carriageway running around the town. However, a park on the southeast was became smaller than it was. Finally, a number of new houses were built as a replacement of several old housing.
