The maps below show the changes that took place at the waterfront area of a town called Darwin between 2009 and 2014.
The pictures illustrate some modifications that were made to the waterfront area of Darwin town in the years 2009 and 2014.
It is clear that the principal changes to the town were made to the facilities of the industrial area of the town. These involved the construction of a new swimming pool, a university building, and residential buildings.
Looking at the maps in more detail, we can see that in 2009, the industrial area covered most of the town but then in 2014, it was demolished to make way for a number of trees and other facilities. In the northwest corner of the area, there was a university building constructed in 2014. Moreover, it appears that a row of residential buildings was built in front of the old next to the university.
Turning to the other changes, in the center of Darwin, a part of the industrial area next to the lake was no longer present in 2014, and instead, a new swimming pool was constructed in the original area. Finally, we see the addition of a harbour in the seashore of the town, and a new footpath was erected to access there.
