The table below illustrates the poportion of British boy in school aged in two different age groups who joined in 5 different sports in 2010.
It is clear from the table that the football account for the highest poportion of boys who participated in. In addition, the lowest percentage of sport that boys joined in is swimming.
On the one hand, percentage of football that boys from 6 to 11 years old participated in account for 87%. Moreover, it is account for 78% with group of boys from 6 to 12 to 16 years old. The basketball poportion of boys from 6 to 11 years old participated in account for 35%. And it decrease by 10% with the group of boys in the age of 12 to 16 years old.
On the other hand, the percentage of boys who joined in cricket accout for 45%. However, it falls to 34% with the group pf boys from 12 to 16 years old. The poportion of school boys in the age of 6 to 11 years old who participated in rugby account for 23%. Wheareas, it is less than 2% compare to this in the group of boys from 11 to 16 years old. Finally, the percentage of boys from 6 to 11 years old account for 19%. Nevertheless, this figure seem to be remains, compare to this with the group of 11 to 16 years old boys.
