Given is the diagram depicting how to produce ketchup. Perceptibly, this is a linear process with multiple steps, which commences from collecting tomatoes and ends with using ketchup with food.
The process initiates when ripe red tomatoes are picked manually to prepare for the next steps. After that, tomatoes are categorized to keep qualified tomatoes which are sent by trucks to the factories where their unnecessary parts, such as stalks, skin and seeds are removed while tomato flesh is put into containers. It, thereafter, is crushed into tomato juice before condiments namely salt, sugar and vinegar are added. Subsequently, this mixture is boiled and then it is left cool naturally within 2 hours. The outcome of the previous step is ketchup which is poured into bottles prior to being labeled. These products go through the quality control process when partially filled bottles are discarded. Following that, the others are packed in boxes to be transported to supermarkets where ketchup is purchased to serve with fast food like hamburgers or fries.
