The pie chart shows the amount of money that a children's charity located in the USA spent and received in one year, 2016

The pie charts illustrate the amount of income that a charitable organization for children situated in the USA earned and allocated in 2016.

Overall, donated food constituted the majority of the income resources, while most of the finances were spent on program services. Also, it can be seen that total revenue resources just exceeded outgoings.

In detail, donated food was the main source of funds for the children’s charity with a proportion of 86.6%. The figure for community contributions was 10.4%, which was the second-largest revenue source and followed by about 2.2% from program revenue. By contrast, government grants, investment income, and other income made up unremarkably similar proportions at 0.2%, 0.2%, and 0.4% respectively.

Turning to the remainings pie chart, program services brought in most of the expenses at 95.8%. Meanwhile, fundraising and management and general were insignificant sources of spending, accounting for 2.6% and 1.6% in order. Furthermore, the total receiving fund was $53,561,580 this year and the total cost was $53,224,896. Their savings in 2016 were just over 330,000 dollars.
