The pie charts depict the percentage of the water usage in three sectors and in 6 different parts of the world. From an overall perspective, it can be noted that water consumption in the agricultural sector attains the highest percentages in two third of the presented locations, whereas, the remaining one-third goes for industrial usage.

In more details, water consumption in agriculture, reaches its peak of 88% in Central Asia followed by Africa and Southeast Asia with a precisely small variance, 84% and 81% respectively. Whereas, Europe has the least consumption of water in that sector, 32% to specific. However, South and North America came fourth and fifth, subsequently.

In addition, water usage in the industrial sector is two times higher in Europe, forming nearly half of the consumption in comparison with the other two sectors and relatively, the same case is demonstrated in North America. The rest of the presented locations' consumption percentages, ranged between 5 to 12 percent.

It is also worth mentioning that domestic water usage has the lowest overall percentages, with highest being 19% claimed by South America proceeded by Europe with a 4% divergence and another 2% to reach North America. Furthermore, 9% is allocated for housing consumption in Africa and a tie at 7% is reached by citizens of Central and Southeast Asia.
