The pie charts illustrate how many students in classes there were in primary schools in four different Australian states in the year 2010.
Overall, the class size from 21-25 students was the most prevalent one in four states, except for in South Australia, while the number of students from 30 students or over was not popular in classes. In addition, among the four states, Australia Capital Territory had the highest number of classes from 21-25 participants.
In New South Wales, there were 37% of classes from 21-25 students, while only 26% of classes had 20 students or fewer in this state. Furthermore, the figures for 26-30 students in New South Wales and 21-25 students in South Australia had was similar, at 33% each. In South Australia, 20 students or fewer was the popular size of classes, at 35%, while around 28% of classes from 26-30 participants. In addition, classes with 30 students or over was the least popular size of classes, accounting only 4% in two states.
Regarding to remained states, in Australia Capital Territory, 26-30 students and 20 students or fewer were the most popular class size in this state, substituting at 51% and 38%. Meanwhile, the class size from 26-20 students and 21-25 students had the most popularity in Western Australia, at 42% and 26%, respectively. Meanwhile, in Australia Capital Territory the number of students from 21-25 participants accounted for one-tenth in the chart. Most noticeably, only 1% of classes with 30 students or more. Meanwhile, the figure for 20 students or fewer and 30 students or more accounted for only 26% and 5% in Western Australia.
