The pie graphs below show the result of a survey of children's activities. The first graph shows the cultural and leisure activities that boys participate in, whereas the second graph shows the activities in which the girls participate.

The summary of the survey on children’s activities according to gender is presented in the two charts. Overall, it is evident that both take pleasure in reading, computer games and listening to music but there are also some differences in other sport preferences. It also can be observed that a greater number of girls are interested in reading than boys.

A closer look at the first chart reveals that just more than one-third boys are mostly delighted in playing computer games, which is double the proportion of boys playing soccer. The figure for basketball accounts for 26% of boys leisure activities. 10% and 11% were devoted to listening to music and skatingboarding, respectively whereas a negligible percentage of boys (2%) partaking in reading.

Turning to the second chart, the girls' most preferred activity is dancing with 27% of the total. In contrast to boys, reading ranks the second favourable activity for girls at 21% rate, which equals the proportion of girls participating in gymnastics (11%) and listening to music (10%). netball and computer games share a similar percentage and together host to roughly 15%.
