The plan depicted below is the map of an airport in the present and in the next year after the redevelopment. The main features are improvement in services for the passengers arriving and the increment in the number of gates from 8 to 18.
In the airport, they replaced check-in counter with a special place for bag drop for the boarding passengers. They have added an extra entrance for departure and arrivals. They have also reconstructed the walkways to sky train and the number of gates has been extended to 18. They also added shops after the security passport control for the passengers. In addition, the check-in counter is replaced to a different location where the cafe used to be. However, the cafe is moved to a new place just in front of the bag drop counter. They also improved the arrival section by adding a few cafes, ATMs and also renovated the place for adding a new car hire.
