The maps compare the outlay of the public Park, called the Grange Park, between 1920 and the present time.
Overall, it is noticeable that there are a lot of modifications inside the park apart from the unchanged entrance areas in north and south parts of it.
According to the 1920 image of the Park, there was a fountain at the centre of the park, but today it is removed, and, instead, the rose garden is constructed that is surrounded by seats from all four sides of it. Stage for musicians, which was located next to the fountain, was renovated into a big amphitheatre for concerts. Additionally, two rose gardens, one of which was situated beside the south entrance and the other to the east of north entrance, are eliminated and a new café is built in the place of the latter.
Regarding the glasshouse located to the north-east of the park, water feature replaced it according to the current day map. Pond for plants is also removed, by inserting the children’s play area instead. While the two entrances, one facing the Arnold avenue and the other facing the Eldon street, remained at the same places, the new entrance is added in the underground car park.
