The plans show a school library 5 years ago and the same library now.
The maps illustrate the differences in the layout of a school library over a 5-year period.
Overall, the configuration of the library has become more space-effective. The main difference is the resizing and the establishment of various facilities and rooms, while the meeting room and a bookshelf remained intact.
In the south-west of the library, there are 2 separated borrowing and returning sections instead of 1 joined desk. The meeting room undergone no change while the conference room has replaced the classroom in the West of the platform.
Some renovations could also be observed in the remaining area. In the center of the library, 2 more studying tables has been installed and all 6 of them were divided into smaller private space to increase the concentration of students. On both side of the studying section were 2 long bookshelves. However, while the one at the top kept its location, the other has been converted into student’s laptop desks. This transformation is also seen in the North Eastern area, with the vanishing of the computer’s desks. Besides, the conference hall has been erected in the bottom right corner of the plan at the expense the library office.
