the production and consumption of electricity in the top ten countries in the year 2014.
The bar graph illustrates the difference between manufacturing and utilization of electricity measured in billion kWh by ten topmost countries across the globe, in 2004.
Overall, it is observed that countries at the top produce a large amount of electricity to suffice their consumption whereas this amount decreases rapidly as going towards the bottom of the table.
Looking at the details, it is evident that China and the United States have the highest figures for production and consumption which are 5,398 and 4,099 billion kWh for producing electricity, and 5,322 and 3,666 for utilization. Furthermore, another interesting point is that Russia has a marginal difference between production and consumption, with figures 1,057 and 1,036 billion kWh.
On the other hand, countries at the bottom of the list produce considerably less, with the Korean Republic constituting the least of all marking 485.1 billion kWh electricity. However, Germany is the only country that is unable to fulfill the production requirements.
