Sunlight and Temperature in three major Cities.
The charts present the monthly change of temperature and hours of light during the year in three famous cities: London, New York and Syndney.
Although in January the capital of UK and New York are remarkably cold, in Australia the temperature reaches its highest peak, as much as New York’s in the middle of summer. Whereas Syndney’s weather has a moderate change over the year, the temperatures in US and Europe gradually increase until July, then steadily go down back at their minimum in January.
In addition, since these places are situated in different emispheres, latitude could explain the significant difference of received daylight among these cities. The one at the northest of the three, London, gets only as one half of New York and Syndney’s sushine and, due to such a slight irradiation, it has an average temperature lower than New York, especially in summer, the hottest period over the year.
