The table below gives information about students studying in six departments in an
Australian university in 2011. Summarise the information making comparisons where
relevant.
To commence with, 72% of females enrolled in the Humanities department, whereas in Science and Physics were accounted to 52% and 56% respectively. In Engineering, only 15% and 17% in Information Technology, and in this department, 49% of students who were non-native speakers. In Humanities and Education, the proportion of students below 1.6%, however, Physics department students were accounted 38%.
Furthermore, non-native Australians was accounted to 20% and 23% in Humanities department and Education. In Physics and Information Technology, the proportion of those in same to 56%, however, in Engineering those students accounted to 48%.
