The table illustrates which consequences can be caused by deforestation.
From an overall perspective, it is apparent that clear cutting of forest leads to four main consequences, that could be grouped into two lines with having as a result flooding and reduction of biodiversity.
The first line has one initial stage and one final. It starts when heavy logging equipment compresses the soil, then damages go through two steps and finish with flooding. So it is clear only equipment for wood leads to flooding.
The second group which ends with biodiversity reduction have three different reasons for causing this damage. The shrank of flora and fauna could be caused after clear cutting of forests because it has three consequences: fewer roots hold the top soil in, increased risk of burning, plants returns less moisture to air. So this reasons have different number of steppes but eventually all of them finish with less biodiversity.
