The table given reveals the figures for the financial aid of improving technology in developing nations from America, European Union and several different territories over a 5-year period starting from 2006.
The most striking features are the upward trends of the investment from all the countries mentioned and the greatest amount of money that the USA spent during the time frame under study.
In 2006, the United States provided approximately 9.7 billion US dollars to support developing countries in terms of technology. Then, the financial investment from the USA experienced some noticeable increases in 2 years later and reached its peak of about 22.7 billion US dollars in 2010. The budget spent on enhancing area of technology specialisation from EU and other countries was far lower than the one from America, approximately 3.3 billion US dollar from the former and about 2.7 billion US dollars from the latter in 2006. Although there were several fluatuations of these trends between 2006 and 2010, they peaked at their highest points, 4.0 billions US dollars for EU countries and 3.3 billion US dollars for the others in the final year of the period under study.
