The people’s reasons for giving up smoking based on consummation and when they intend to give up is illustrated in the charts.
Overall, the top excuse for people stop smoking is better for health in general, while present health problem showed the reverse. In addition, the majority of people intend to give up smoking within the next 6 months.
Initially, the majority smokers have a tendency to stop smoking since generally for their health accounted for 71%, while health problems becomes the least excuses at 12%, but both of them have a different sources, for the better for health in general, many of them comes from people consuming cigarette smokes fewer than ten per day at 74%, while present health problem from 20+ per day.
For the other reasons giving up, financial consideration is the second majority at 31%, it is slightly different with less risk of getting smoking-related illnesses at 25%. Both of them have same majority, they are people consuming smokes 10-19 per day. For the other reason is family pressure at 16%, and 16% of the people still become smokers.
