The bar chart compares the percentage of renewable resource supplied for four different countries, namely australia sweden, Iceland, Turkey during the period from 1997 to 2010.
Overall, it was clear that the proportion of renewable energy used in iceland was always the highest in almost three years. Moreover, the consumption of sweden and iceland increased continuously over the period shown.
Looking at the details,in 1997, around 45% of renewable energy used by iceland which was enormously higher than that in sweden only about 5%.however, utilising renewable energy in both sweden and iceland saw an growth about 9% and 70 % respectively during the period shown.
By contrast, there was a gradually decrease in the percentage of using renewable energy in australia from around 10% to under 5% at the same period. The figure for turkey began at around 38% in 1997, increasing to over 40% in 2000 and finally hitting low of about 33% in the end of period.
