The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981, 1991 and 2001.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie charts illustrate the proportions of annual expenditure on five different categories in UK school in 1981, 1991 and 2001.
It is clear that teachers stood out as being paid far more than the others, while those of insurance was trivial. Overall, almost all the total spending increased slightly, with the except for minimal declines in the data of staffs 'salaries and resources.
As is observed, the largest amount of money was spent on teachers ' salaries at exactly 40%, whereas those of insurance was sharply lower at merely 2% in 1981. In comparison, 15% of school expenditure was spent for resources, which exactly equal to the figure for the facilities. Moreover, expenditure of staffs 'salaries occupied almost one third of expenditure at about 30%
Those of teachers ' salaries still remained the biggest cost by 1981 and ending at 45% in 2001. An decline can be witnessed in the data of resources to 9%, while facilities expenditure showed an opposite trend, rising to 23%. Moreover, during the period shown, insurance expenditure was four-fold bigger, rising from 2% to 8%. In contrast, the figure for insurance was still insignificant
