The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The two maps of an island highlight the previous island and later on development done to include visitor’s emenities.
Overall, it is clear from the map that in previous times, the 100 meters island just had a beach for swimming and no facilities for tour visitors. Later on, the island included many necessary amenities for tourist.
Firstly, in the North of an island a restaurant is built now with vehicle tracks leading to reception as well as the pier. This way the north part of the island is connected with the southern part. Next, in the western part near the beach, numerous cottages are constructed connecting to each other with footpaths encircling the palm trees.
Finally, in the centre of the island, a few more accommodations are introduced with footpaths interconnecting those. After that, south of island has few sailboats introduced for public recreation and transport purposes. Meanwhile, the eastern part of the island is still kept natural and uninhabited, with few palm trees only. Tourists can enjoy the vast span of this side and sunbath on sand.
