The two maps below show the Paradise island in the past and in the present

Essay topics:

The two maps below show the Paradise island in the past and in the present.

The graphs depict how the area of Paradise Island has transformed from the past until now.
It is worth noticing that there has been a considerable development to the island and the area is becoming a more modern tourist attraction.
The most notable difference is the introduction of a cycle path lining the area. Moreover, a scenic lookout has been erected to the top right corner of the island next to the rocks which have remained throughout time. Similarly, a new cafe has been built near the natural spring. Additionally, the beach has been kept intact yet now, people are allowed to swim there.
It is also shown in the maps that several facilities have been converted to other usage. Most notably, the scientific research station and some trees have been removed to make room for a luxurious hotel complex with a swimming pool. To the right side of the island, several trees were cut down so that an open restaurant and a BBQ area could be established. It is remarkable that the pier leading to the sea is still in its initial position yet it has been expanded and the boat near it has been replaced by an innovated cruise ship.
