The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.
The illustrations represent the changes that took place on the surrounding road of the City Hospital from 2007 to 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the significant changes include the addition of various facilities such as car parking and roundabouts on the road access to the City Hospital.
According to the map, it is conspicuous that the City Hospital was surrounded by a ring road that led to hospital road in 2007, which remained the same in 2010. In addition to this, in 2007, the car parking area for staff and visitors of the hospital was on the right-hand side of the hospital road. Interestingly, there were multiple bus stops available on each side of the hospital road. The hospital road was intersecting with the city road in 20077.
In 2010, there were numerous changes nearby the city hospital. First and foremost, roundabouts were developed in the place of crossing roads between hospital road and city road as well as in the midst of city hospital and hospital road. On the east side of hospital road, the land which was previously occupied by the bus stop was replaced with the extension of the car parking for the employees of the hospital. However, parking facilities for the public were developed on the east side of the hospital. The enlarged bus station took place on the west of city hospital road and the road of the bus station was connected to both roundabouts.
