The two pie charts below show the online shopping sales for retail sectors in Canada in 2019 and 2020.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

The charts provide information about the percentage of online sales which are grouped in 4 categories in Canada in a year. It is clear that grocery and electronic segments increased, but the others decreased.

The electronics rose significantly around more than 50% from 19%, the third position sales among the other categories in 2019, to 45% in 2020 becoming the most selling area at that time. Furthermore, the grocery field with 14% of selling percentage became the least sales among the other sectors in 2019. However, it rose at 22% in 2020 which was the same proportion as the sales of clothing.

The clothes, at 39% of total proportion, dominated the selling of retail sectors in 2019. However it experienced drop to 22%, which was the same percentage as the sales of groceries in 2020. The another sector which decreased in sales was Home and Kitchen which dropped more than 50% from 29%, the second position dominating the sales in 2019, to 11% which was the least sales in 2020.
