The two pie charts provide information about the percentage of online sales of various retail sectors in Canada between 2005 and 2010.

It is clear that the proportion of online sales in different retail sectors were not equal. In addition, there had been a shift among these sectors in 2010.

In 2005, People tended to buy electronics online the most, accounted for 35%. Whereas, furniture as well as food and beverage were less common to buy online, about 25% and 22% respectively. Lastly, in the bottom of the list was video games since apparently back then programming was not able to provide people with the experience they need, so online sale for games was only 18% of all.

By 2010, thanks to the convenience provided by the internet, online shopping had become easier than before. As a result, food and beverage were on the increase to 32%, becoming the most popular online goods. Furthermore, the same trend also applied to video games which rose to 23%. However, furniture was the thing that experienced the most drastic decrease, down to 15% and for electronics, it dropped by 5%.
