Write an essay to compare the difference and similar of living at home and living far away home
Home means a cozy, happy place where people can live with their family. It's somewhere where we are loved, respected, and cared for. The domicile or residence may be form own home, a rented house, boarding house, apartment…People can live at home or live away from home. Most students are studying at college and workers comes from suburban areas. They often live away from home. On the surface at least, Living at home or living away from home are dissimilar in several aspects.
One obvious difference is freedom. Students who are living at home, their freedom will be restricted by parents. They must obey all of rules that parents set. They can’t go out with friends until midnight or overnight even they must ask their parents for permission. In contrast others who are living far away from home, they have more freedom. They mustn’t obey any rules since they can set their own rules. They can go out whenever they want and freely gather with their friends. For example, they can go out with friend until midnight without parents’ permission even they can also organize party all night without any complaints.
Another important difference is financial. When people live far away home, they must pay their needs such as rental costs and their food. As we can know that, students who do not live with their family often lack financial managing skills. Plenty of evidence suggests that, they often spend much money on unnecessary items and cope with running out of money. Honestly, they frequently buy more luxury goods or go to travel with their friends. Whereas people who live with their family, the electricity bills and other daily expenses paid by their parents. Their parents also prevent them from spending money on unreasonable items. So, they will have a better finance.
In spite of these differences, both of living at home and living away from home have similar thing.
The main similarity is the responsibility. People who live at home, have to help their parents to clean the house, make dinner or do the washing up…Likewise, people who live far away home, have to wash their clothes by self, clean up their room ...
In Summary, The difference between living at home and living away from home is freedom and financial problem. However, both of their differences they also have the similarities in responsibility. The differences and the similarities can be the reasons and considerations of students who want to live away from home while they continue to college.
