The pie graphs below show the result of a survey of children's activities. The first graph shows the cultural and leisure activities that boys participate in, whereas the second graph shows the activities in which the girls participate.
Write a report describing the information shown in the two pie graphs.
Write at least 150 words.
The two pie charts illustrate the percentages of information about the activities that the two gender groups tended to do in regularly by the survey.
Overall, the boys attended stronger activities than the girls but they all had a cup of tea of listening to music, computer games, and reading. Besides, the girls also liked gymnastics, netball, and dancing while the boys spent their time in soccer, basketball, and skateboarding.
It could be seen that the proportions of listening to the music of both gender groups were the same at 10%. Meanwhile, there was a significant different in the figure for the reading time of the girls was almost ten times greater than its of the boys. For more details, the boys were addicted to computer games at 34%- the biggest number in both graphs, while girls just played computer games half of the boys, about 16%.
It was obvious that the girls preferred to dance more than any hobby as it showed the highest number, account 27%. Although the quantity for netball of young female participants was 15%, this for basketball of young male participants was higher at 26%.
It was rare that both groups gave an equal amount of time in gymnastics for girls and skateboarding for the boys, account 11%
