The given bar graph provides the comparison of the global sales among four types of digital games over 7-year period.

Overall, it is obvious that handheld games hosted the highest rank during 7 years. Three of four digital games witnessed the upward trend whereas the console games observed the reversed pattern over the years shown.

According to the supplied data, there were merely 2 types of digital games called console games and handheld games in 2000, whose sales is 6 and 12 billion dollars respectively. Subsequently, there were the existence of mobile phone games and online games in 2002, with these numbers of sales met at the same record. While the sales of handheld game in 2003 reached nearly 15 billion dollars and was roughly more than 2 times when compared with the remaining sales which were under 6 billion dollars.

Moving to the sales in 2004, surprisingly, the number of sales in mobile phone games, online games, console games experienced the upward trend and had the similar pattern in 2004. The handheld game had the same trend and still came as the first rank in sales. While most of types of digital games saw a growth in sales except for console games. The sales of console games fall from 5 billion dollars in 2004 to 4 and 3 billion dollars in the next two years. Finally, sales in three out of four digital games increase slightly after 2004 and the handheld games was the most preferred games at all, with the recorded number in sales was reach peak at 18 billion dollars.
