The company you work for is planning to provide special training for staff. Your
duty is to find out if the local conference centre has suitable facilities in order
to hold the training.
Write a letter to the manager of the conference centre. In your letter
• Give some details about the training course
• Describe what kind of equipment you will need for the course
• Ask some questions about the facilities at the conference centre
Dear sir or madam.
My name is Carlos Becerra. I am the human resources manager from Capital One Bank. I am writing to you because my company is currently planning an international trade training program for the sales staff based all around the country.
We will need a conference room for at least two hundred and fifty people, with a large screen, a high tech sound system and of course a good wifi connection. We are going to hold several video conferences with our general manager in Holland.
I saw on your web page that the conference center has accommodation for two hundred people. I need to confirm that information. Finally, I want to know if there is a baseball field in the center, we need to arrange our yearly baseball game which features rookies against veterans. A big tradition in our company and it takes place on the last day of the training program.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind Regards.
