Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends
they have just sent you some photos of yours holidays.
thank them for the photos and for the holidays
explain why you didn't write earlier
invite them to come and stay with you
Dear janani and Ram,
How are you both? I hope this letter finds you well. Although, it's such a short time since we last saw each other, it feels much longer.
Thank you very much for the marvellous trip that i had with you last month and i am so glad with your warm hospitality. The photos you sent were excellent and still reminds me the cheerful moments we had.The whimsical behaviour of your kids attracted me and also made the trip an unforgettable one.
since i took leave for my office during our trip, i had more pending work and was working overtime all these days.As a result,i didn't find time to write to you. And i'm sorry for not contacting you these days.
I have ten days of holidays for this year's christmas and i would be very much delighted if you both join me for christmas celebration. this will be a great chance for you to visit my country and meet the rest of my family. Ofcourse, you must stay with us. Mine is a big family with nine members and all of us are expecting you and your kids. we'll pick you at the airport. I really hope you can make it. Take care and write back soon.
Best regards,
Gayathri.
