Nowadays, parents put too much pressure on their children to succeed. What is the reason for doing this? Is this a negative or positive development?
In this modern era, everyone wants success in their lives at any cost. Owing to this a lot of pressure given by gardian to their young child to get extraordinary success. According to me, this is a deterimental development which I will elborate with suitable illustartions.
Firstly, parents think that only success can bring happiness to their child’s life. If they want to be marry, they need success. Owing to this, gardian challenges a lot to child. Somewhere they deem that it is compulsory to have all the materialist things which others have. Another reason is peer pressure which they face at school or social fuctions where parents tend to compare their child with others. For example, after a school exam, parents would like to know marks of other classmates too. Ultimatelly, young one feel presured all the time.
In my opinion this trend having a deterimental effects on children’s mind, due to this they cannot think out of the box, not only this, but also they become part of rat race and do the same thing which others do. Children cannot develop their creativity and they afraid to do something new because child thinks that if they will no be successful then parents may blame. For instance, my one of bosom friends wanted to become singer but his parents forced him to become doctor. Currently, he is just a doctor by prefession not by heart.
In conclusion, owing to materialist thing and peer presure parents force their young child to become successful. However, child do not get proper exposer to do what they want and they avoid to do anything new.
