On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortnunately you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter
- Describe the item you lost
- explain how you lost it
- tell the insurance company what you would like them to do.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter with regard to a very valuable item that I have lost during my previous vacation in Spain. Fortunately, I have issued a travel insurance just before going into my trip in case of such problem. my insurance card reference is AS12345, and my name is Bilal Abo. Yesterday, when I got back from the airport I checked my professional camera, which's black and white Canon model, in the luggage and unfortunately i did not find it.
Then immediately I contacted the hotel to ask if by accidentally I forgot it there. they assured me that my room was empty when I left the hotel. Thereafter, I called the taxi agency that dropped me at the airport last night, but they also confirmed to me that nothing missed by me. Therefore, I can certainly assert that my professional camera has been stolen at the airport when I was waiting my flight there.
As per the travel insurance policy, I would like to request that you compensate me the cost of my camera which is almost $1000. I still have the original invoice if you would like to see it. I will send you my bank account details in a separate email.
I look forward to receiving your great response.
Best regards,
Bilal
