On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. Fortnunately you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.

Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter

- Describe the item you lost

- explain how you lost it

- tell the insurance company what you would like them to do.

Dear Sir / Madam,

A week ago, I went to Sydney with my family during Christmas holidays. During our visit we stayed in the Marriott hotel. Unfortunately, during our stay, I lost my new Apple I-phone.

It is the latest model which was launched by Apple Company recently, and I had bought it a month ago from the store in Delhi. Our hotel had planned a big event on Christmas Eve and we all went there. I clearly remember carrying my I-phone to the event but during the celebrations I somehow misplaced it. I informed the Duty Manager about my grievance and he immediately got a search team, which, despite their motivated efforts, was unsuccessful in locating my I-phone. I later registered a complaint in a nearby Police Station, a copy of which I am enclosing with this letter.

As my Apple I-phone was insured through your company, Protect Electronics, I request you to initiate the payment under my insurance cover.

Thank you for your time and attention.
