Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to let you know that the road construction work going on 45th North Street, Stoneham, MA. I am a 70 year old resident of Leisure lane on 45th North Street and have trouble with the noise pollution caused due to maintenance work going on the street just outside our apartment complex.
Let me explain my situation in detail. With my age and poor heart health it is very difficult to tolerate high decibel noises coming from the construction work. Therefore, the constant sound coming at odd night hours creates disturbances in sleep as well as overall health. Moreover, it also creates obstacles other fellow residents with similar age and health conditions.
Considering that the road work going on is extremely necessary for the upkeep of the town, can I please suggest a solution. Would you kindly change your work schedule from night to day time – office hours so, as to least disturb all the residents who are already at their work place. Additionally, you could also try and avoid weekends and create plan around weekdays for the same reason mentioned above.
Thanks you for your consideration.
Yours Faithfully,
Seema
