Write a letter to an English-speaking friend.
In your letter,
explain why you changed jobs
, describe your new job
, tell him/her your other news
Dear lilian,
I hope you are doing great and Sarah is growing strong. I am writing this letter to share the good news with you about my new job.
As you are aware, my old job location was a great distance from my house, so I struggled with commuting to and fro. However, with my new job, I do not have to worry about that anymore. Also, you recall when we had a conversation about my intention to return to my original accounting career from my former sales job, this allowed me an opportunity to finally switch jobs.
My new job focus mainly on accounting roles like reporting and financial analysis. It comes with a very attractive remuneration package, an official car, and comfortable accommodation. My colleagues are amiable gracious which makes the working environment friendly.
Another exciting news is that I will be hosting a house party on the 30th of next month to celebrate my new accommodation and the job offer. I would be thankful if you could make time to attend as I have missed you so much and wish to see you.
Let me know when you are coming so that I can prepare for your visit and say hi to Sarah.
Best wishes,
Ann.
