Write a letter to invite your English-speaking friend to watch a new film with you about your country.2.27 - 2.47
In the letter, you should:
include some information about the film
explain why your friend might be interested to watch the film
inform other arrangements you will be making for watching the film
Dear Grace,
How are you doing? Since we have not met for a long time, I have got a perfect evening planned out for us. I remeber the last time we met, you conveyed to me about your fondness for bollywood movies and your eagerness to watch one.
Intrestingly, recently a new movie has been released which has your favourite actor Shahrukh Khan and the movie's name is Swadesh. The film shows some fascinating facts of India and also about the Indian culture. Additionally, it would also help you to write your thesis for the next assignment about India.
Furthermore, to make the evening more exciting, I will cook your favourite Indian curry and some Samosas with it. I am trying to organise an HD movie print for better picture quality.
Let's plan for this meeting on Saturday 21st August, as it is a long weekend and we could relax till late night. I hope you could make it.
Warm Regards,
Tina.
