You and a friend recently went on a holiday together. There is a problem with the photos you have taken during the holiday. Write a letter to your friend to ask for a particular photo. In your letter,
- Tell him/her about the problem with your photos
- Say which photo you would like him/her to send you
- Explain why you need this photo.
Dear Mohammad,
I’m just writing to say thank you for the offer to join you on your holiday. I was over the moon when received your letter of invitation.
Sadly, when we went to the Taj Mahal castle, I took all the pictures with my cell phone. Because the camera’s battery died out moments before we arrived, and unfortunately, the phone memory was faulty, and I didn’t know that. So, the photos of the Taj Mahal were not saved.
Could you do me a favor, and send me any photo of the underground museum. Specifically, the part which was about the history of the castle. I hope you’ve taken some pictures of that area.
The reason why I asking you to send me those photos is my older sister. She is studying history at university, and writing an essay about the history of India. She would be grateful if you could find and send any photos for her.
Take care,
Ali
