You are due to move into a rented apartment next month but you will not be able to because you have some problems.
Write a letter to the course provider. In your letter,
1-Explain your situation
2-Describe your problems
3-Tell him/her when you think you can move in
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter with regards to the move in date into the new apartment on 7th July i.e. next month. Due to unforeseen situations, I may have to shift by end of October on account of employment commitment.
Let me explain in detail. my new employer wants me join work as soon as possible and thus shifted my joining date from 15th to 1st July. Initially, my plan was to take a week off from work and settle down in the new place and also get familiar with the area. However, due to this sudden change my itinerary has gone haywire, leaving me with no time to adjust.
Therefore, could you please speed up all the major renovations so that I can set up the house immediately. In addition, some minor work can continue even after I start staying there.
I look forward to your reply and hope you consider my situation favorably.
Your Faithfully,
Mary Smith
