You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are studying, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,
give details of your study plans
explain why you want to get a part-time job
suggest how your friend could help you find a job
Hi John,
I hope that you are doing very well. As you may already know, I am planing to move Canada next month to study Law Science at MCH university in Toronto. The course starts on June 21st 2019 and will finish on July 2021. So, apparently, I will stay for almost 2 years. However, I'd love if you could help me finding any profession during my living there.
As we discussed last time we spoke, the college fees and the cost of living are extremely high, and I only have some money which I've obtained them from the last job. Moreover, I have no provided scholarship. Therefore, I strongly need any part-time occupations to enhance my financial situation. Furthermore, it's a golden opportunity to evolve my English language skills by practicing it in the work.
However, I will send you the updated CV of mine, so you can send it to any recruitment agency, also you can visit the job office department at my university and explain to them how much I really need to be worked, or please send me the latest vacancies lists which posed in the Canadian newspapers, so I can communicate with them from now.
I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Thanks a lot
Bilal
