You have just moved into a new home and are planning to hold a party. You are worried that noise may disturb your neighbor. Write a letter to your neighbor. In your letter • introduce yourself • describe your plans for the party • invite your neighbour to come
Dear Jan,
I am writing a letter to invite you to join us for a party to celebrate an important occasion on Sunday 25th, 2019.
I would like to start with my introduction here, its Ali, a resident of house number 18 A-Block which is located opposite to your villa on the right side of the corner street. I bought this house in your gated vicinity a month ago and have recently been shifted over here from another town; therefore, we have a plan to arrange a party to celebrate the housewarming ceremony. It’s an important occasion for all of us because we did struggle a lot to earn a hefty amount to buy our own house after 15 years.
In this regard, we would like you to invite to join us for the celebration along with family members. The party will start at 6 o clock over the weekend; hence it won’t interrupt your office routine. In addition, we will be arranging a dinner with a wide variety of cuisines including Indian, Pakistani and Arabic, play area for kids, and a musical band to enjoy the traditional songs. Although the volume of the songs would be at a nominal level, we are afraid that it might bother you with late-night noises, so apologies for that.
I look forward to meeting you soon and get to know in detail.
Yours sincerely.
Ali
