You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect.
Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter
Correct the information in the article
Explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information
Suggest what the magazine should do about this situation
Dear sir,
I am writing this letter to inform you about the mistake that I found while reading an article in your esteemed magazine. I have been a reader of your magazine for three years. In the latest edition of it, you have written an article on my area-Chamba. I would like to draw your attention to some incorrect information which was given in your article.
it was written in the article that chamba area will have snowfall in the last days of april.but actually, in the last days of April, there is little rain resulting no snow fall. The information mentioned in the article may mislead the tourists to make their plans to visit Chamba in the last days of April to look and enjoy the snowfall, but their expectations will not be fulfilled as there will be no snowfall in the last days of April instead it will fall in the month of June. secondly, you have written that there are ample of means to transport to a higher peak of Chamba. but in reality fewer means of transport available in the peak season for tourists.
Many people who want to explore the valleys of Chamba are following your magazine. such kind of misinformation can mislead them. while mentioning anything in your article do some research and give only that information that is genuine and correct. so that no tourists feel deceived and missed the scenery the wished to see.
I hope you will admire my suggestion and work on it.
yours faithfully,
WISDOM
