You have just received a credit card statement from your bank.
The statement lists a number of expensive purchases that you are sure you did not make.
Write a letter to the bank manager. In the letter:
• Introduce yourself.
• Explain that you did not buy the items listed.
• Say what you would like the bank to do to fix the problem.
You do not need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Navdeep Puri, dweller of Huston Street New York U.S.A, penning down this epistle to bring your kind attention towards my credit card statement which is depicting about the purchase of costly items during last month. I am one of those loyal clients of your bank who are associated with you since your inception and my credit card number is1122445.
Although I am shopaholic by nature, I did not performed any transaction by using your credit card as I have not activated the pin of this card so far. Moreover, my mobile number and email id are not linked with this card yet. Hence, it is pragmatically impossible to use this card from me end.
Gladly, I have not received any sort of complaint from your institution during my whole tenure, but now it is a matter of grave concern that who has misutilized my credit card without my permission. It would be highly appreciable if you block my credit card so that further misappropriation of funds could be stopped and trace out the accused person who are behind such malpractices.
I am anticipating a prompt response from your side on above cited matter.
Yours sincerely
Navdeep
