You have planned to study in Australia. You have sent a letter to a college, but you have not received a reply from the college. Write a letter to the college principal. In your letter,
- you should give details of the course that you wished to do,
- say why do you choose to study at the college,
- say why you need the reply soon.
Dear Sir,
It is very kind of you to provide the facility for foreign students by letting them have a chance to study at your college. I am Shamema Afroj Sharna, one of the fortunate students from Bangladesh who could fulfill all the requirements asked for applying to your college. However, I did not get any reply from the college after completing the application procedure.
I completed my B. Sc. in Pathology in Bangladesh from the University of Dhaka, one of the most reputed public universities in Bangladesh. Now I am looking forward to having a Master's Degree in Microbiology as it will give me more specialization in choosing a working area in Medical Science.
Your college offers a myriad of facilities for research works. When I searched for activities that are to be done in addition to the academic courses, I was amused to see the abundance of practical field works done by the students.
I am very much fascinated to build my career in the research field. This is the main reason for choosing your college as you are the pioneer for producing scintillating researchers. Besides, you have the laboratory well-equipped with all the types of machinery that are used for advanced level laboratory works.
It is a matter of great sorrow for me that I did not get any reply from such a marvelous college. However, I also applied to a college in Canada and they are very much interested in offering me admission with a scholarship. They have given me a deadline until 30th November to confirm my admission.
At this stage, I really need to know your decision regarding my application so that I can get admitted to a college without losing any semester. Please consider my situation and help me out.
Sincerely yours,
Shamema Afroj Sharna
