You have received a letter about winning a prize in a competition organised by the media house, but didn’t receive that prize. Write a letter to the editor of a newspaper about it and say

– Describe the competition and prize in details.

– How do you feel about it?

– What do you expect the editor to do about it?

Dear Editor,

I am writing in connection with the competition which was arranged and hosted by the media house. The competition was on who can name all Iran’s province names within a minute and it occurred at Pars Hotel in Shiraz on 23/04/2019. I have received a letter that I have won the prize which is a cheque with a value of $1000 and I will receive it on at my address on 01/06/2019.

I became very happy and excited and I bought a new car which I need badly. I do not know what happened, I got nothing up to now. It made me very upset and put me in the worst situation I have ever had economically as I have bought a new car based on that hope. Therefore, I have no money left to pay for my next rent.

Could you contact the organizer and do a follow-up as you have a close connection with them? I hope with your help I can receive the money and pay my next rent. I highly appreciate your help and consideration.

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

Sorena Ashkani.
